I saw this picture on TV when the Miss Dior first came out, and I really like this picture because I thought it’s a perfect interpretation of the perfume, that it’s light and chipper, all pink and girly~

After this interview project…

I enjoyed this project because it gave me a chance to look at education from a different angle. I used to think the differences in education could only affect the students. But after this interview project, I realized it could affect students, teachers, and even parents of both cultures.

Being in college really helped me see the power of education and that it could really help people have a different and better life. Education is so influential that having the chance to experience both kinds of education (the Chinese and the American) has really made me cherish my time in the States even more.

I am also glad I chose this topic because it really was something I am interested in. I have always wondered what made the people around the world so different. This might sound like a stupid question because there is no possible that everyone is the same. But what I wanted to know is what is(are) the biggest contributing factor(s) to that question. After this project, I can be sure that education is definitely one of the factors.

Also, this project helped me become more appreciative. For last couple of years I have been in the States, I did not understand why did my parents push so hard for me to come to the States for high school and college. Now I know, because there were so many things I learned and some of my friends who stayed in China would never have to chance to see. There were so many things I took for granted and thought they were more natural than anything but for others like my parents, they would never even come close to understand.

Education, like I said in my project, has the power to change the world.
